Description:

Written late in Ibsen\'s career as a dramatist, the four plays in this volume move away from his earlier preoccupation with people at odds with society, to explore the inward struggle with their own thoughts, feelings and dreams. It depicts a powerful man\'s collapse, an idealist\'s beliefs, a man\'s self-deception, and a sister\'s bitter struggle.
